Head out on a walk and as you leave decide on one colour, any colour you like but as a beginner, I often suggest yellow or red. Now your only focus for your walk is to spot the colour you have chosen. Your mind will wander, that normal but when you notice it has, come back to the colour asking, where can I see (red) at the moment? Have I missed any (yellow)? Every time you pull yourself back you do a mindfulness sit up and get more resilient in staying present. .
